Magnolia

A small bathroom, and the brief was to stop it feeling like one without moving a single wall.

That is mostly a question of what you can see at once. So: a vanity raised off the floor, an arched mirror that takes the eye up, open marble shelves instead of a cabinet, and brass rather than chrome, which is warmer and hides water.

Everything that had to be there is still there. It just stopped announcing itself.
